DIY: collar degradado

¡Hola! hoy os traigo este collar que surgió a partir de unos tubitos de plástico que me dio por dales otra utilidad.

Hi! today I'm going to show you this necklace that I made because I wanted to do something with a little plastic tube that I found.

Para hacerlo vamos a necesitar:

Pintauñas de varios colores, cinta adhesiva, cuerda, distintos enganches de bisutería (anillas, cierres...) y un tubito de plástico.

Nail polishes in different colours, tape, cord, some jewlery stuff, and a little plastic tube.

Empezamos pintando el tubo con los pintauñas. La verdad, no se si hay un método mejor para colorearlo pero hasta ahora los pintauñas no me han fallado XD

We start by painting the tube with the nail polishes. I don't know if there's any other product to paint this, but until now nail polish has worked for me.

Para hacer el degradado de un color a otro pintamos con el color más oscuro un poco más de donde se quiere que llegue y superponemos el siguiente color. También os podéis ayudar de una esponja, pero yo nunca me apaño.

To do the degraded paint first with the darkest colour and then superimpose the other. You can also use a sponge to mix them.

Continuamos hasta terminar de pintar el tubo y lo dejamos secar muy bien.

We finish to paint the tube and let it dry really well.

Ahora vamos a hacer los adornos en negro. Para que los cortes queden perfectos epararemos la zona que vamos a pintar con cinta adhesiva, pintaremos la zona, dejaremos secar y después quitaremos la cinta. Hay que tener mucho cuidado para quitarla, porque si el pintauñas no está aún seco la cinta adhesiva lo arrancará.

To make the black parts put tape in the zones you don't want to be painted. When thw black paint is dry remove the tape. Be careful because if the paint under the tape isn't dry the tape will remove it.

Hacemos todos los adornos que queramos y de nuevo dejamos secar. Si queréis aquí le podéis dar la forma curva.

We make all ormanets we want and let it dry again.

Ahora para poder colgar esta pieza ponemos una gota de pegamento o silicona en una de estas piezas (la verdad es que no se como se llaman, si alguien lo sabe que me lo diga por favor -.-"), la colocamos en un extremo del tubo y hacemos lo mismo con el otro.

To be able to hang this piece put one of these pieces in both sides of tube with a bit of glue or silicon.

Para colocar la cuerda cortamos la cantidad que queremos y la cortamos en dos. Por un extremo de las dos cuerdas colocamos una terminación y pasamos una arandela para unirla a la pieza.

Now cut the length of string you want, cut it in half and put together one end of both cords with the piece.

 Por el otro extremo d la cuerda colocamos un cierre y ¡listo!

Put a closure at the other end and, you are done!
